Roses have special meaning for the women in my family. It’s a long story as to why this is, but for my mother, my three sisters and me, roses have always been special.

A few weeks ago I was lying in bed and decided that I wanted to manifest a single rose. It didn’t matter what type of rose or what color, I just wanted one single rose. I kept this thought in my mind and while I did not dwell on it constantly, I did, from time to time, think of the single rose I intended to manifest.

My parents were in the process of moving and October 14th was the day the moving truck came to pack their belongings. I went to their house that day to help with some last minute packing and to clean up the house after everything was loaded on the truck. It was a long, busy day and I really didn’t give much thought to anything else but finishing the job at hand.

Later that day I went outside to put something in my car and for some reason I thought of the rose. Something told me to walk around the side of the house to the climbing rose bush my parents had on the side of their deck. Always one to follow my instincts I did just that and lo and behold, as I rounded the corner of the house to the rose bush, I found one single rose in bloom. I clipped the rose and took it home with me because that would be the last day that I would ever see that particular rose bush.

From the minute I decided to manifest the rose, I never once doubted that I would receive it. As is true with all of our desires, I didn’t know exactly when I would receive it or how it would come about, but I knew that it would. I had received the rose I intended to manifest but what made it even more special was that I had received it from a bush that I had given to my mother as a gift many years ago. And I received it on the very last day my parents were to spend in the house where the bush was planted.

We never know how or when our desires will manifest but when we trust and have complete faith, they always do. And when they do, if we look closely, we will see they always manifest in a very special way.
